Among many mechanical keyboards, Mchose G98 Pro Blackberry Pink stands out with its unique color scheme and performance. Today, I have the honor to bring you an unboxing review of this keyboard.
Step2:Packaging and Accessories
The box of Mchose G98 Pro is simple and elegant with black as the main color, and the yellow embellishment adds a touch of vitality. Opening the package we can see the keyboard body, a dust cover, a quick guide, a Type-C cable, a shaft puller and key puller, as well as 2 replaceable shafts and a warranty card.
Step3:Appearance
The keyboard body comes in a half-grade black color scheme + KTT Cabbage Tofu Shaft V2. The Black Berry Pink color scheme gives it a warm and professional look, perfect for users who are looking for personalization. A new high-gloss PVD mirror counterweight block is added to the back of the keyboard to enhance the over.
Step4:Performance Features
The Mchose G98 Pro has also made upgrades in terms of performance. First of all, in terms of keycaps, the Pro version adds gradient side engraving as well as heat sublimation for users to choose from on top of the original PBT MDA or original height triple-spliced color-coordinated keycaps.
In terms of decorative parts, the Pro version adds a high-gloss PVD mirror counterweight block on the back to enhance the value. In terms of latency, the Pro version adds TOPSPEED Wireless wireless low-latency technology, with a latency of only 1ms, which is an improvement from the previous 3ms.
The 18.5mm front height provides a comfortable using experience, and the 8000 mAh Li-ion battery ensures a long battery life.
Step5:Shaft and feel
The G98Pro in my hand uses the KTT Cabbage Tofu Shaft V2, with a trigger pressure of 45g, a trigger stroke of 1.8mm, and a bottoming out stroke of 3.6mm. The extended shaft and extended spring design allows for faster bottoming out and quicker rebound. The shaft comes with a light guide pillar to better focus the lighting effect.
Internal padding and structure
For internal padding, Mchose G98 Pro uses a five-layer sound deadening padding of white Poron Sandwich Cotton + IXPE Under-Axis Pad + PET Acoustic Optimizer Pad + Axis Holder Bottom Cotton + Silicone Bottom Pad. The single-key slotted PCB and single-key slotted PC locator board with Gasket construction provide better key feedback and key consistency.
